This chair, released at the Milan Triennale in 1960, features an innovative design using Japan's first racket structure. Junzo Sakakura Architect & Associates handled the exhibition layout at the Milan Triennale, and Daisaku Choh, then a member of the institute, was in charge of the furniture design. The organic lines of the backrest were inspired by the curve of a persimmon fruit when cut in half lengthwise. It is an ideal dining chair that fits well in Japanese living spaces.Source:https://metropolitan.co.jp/
