This is a fine art giclée print created especially for The Poster Club by Amélie Lefebvre, a graphic designer and illustrator born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She collaborates with advertising agencies, brands, and magazines, working on a wide range of projects including illustration, branding, packaging design, animation, and typography. "Each job brings with it a new way of thinking, and sometimes even a new way of constructing an image. It's like starting from scratch every time, which is both exciting and challenging," says Amélie. Adept at experimental approaches, she utilizes digital tools, collage, and traditional art materials such as ink, acrylic, and oil pastels, engaging in a dynamic creative process until the desired result is achieved. "I love experimenting with different materials and enjoying unexpected coincidences, but I also like to control the image I'm creating using Photoshop," she explains. Here, composition and color, combined with the textures created by cutouts and textures, result in a work that harmonizes precision and improvisation.
