This is a fine art giclée print created especially for The Poster Club by Amélie Lefebvre, a graphic designer and illustrator born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She works with advertising agencies, brands, and magazines on a wide range of projects, including illustration, branding, packaging design, animation, and typography. "Each job presents a new way of thinking, and sometimes even a new way of constructing an image. It's like starting from scratch every time, which is both exciting and challenging," says Amélie. With a penchant for experimental approaches, she utilizes digital tools, collage, and traditional art materials like ink, acrylics, and oil pastels, engaging in a dynamic creative process until she achieves the desired outcome. "I love experimenting with different mediums and enjoying unexpected coincidences, but I also like to control the image I'm creating using Photoshop," she explains. Here, composition and color, combined with the textures brought by cut-outs and textures, create a work that harmonizes precision and improvisation.
