Designed by the Bouroullec brothers, this chair is constructed by combining opposing elements: cutting-edge technology and creative expression, a sturdy structure and a flexible backrest, and hard, inorganic tubes with organic rope. By applying rope to the backrest, which supports the sitter's weight, it creates comfort tailored to each individual. The highly dynamic seating, allowing for free changes in posture, promotes creativity. Like leaving an imprint, the rope chair, which retains the form of each person, is born from a completely new idea, designed by the sitter themselves.
